Kathy Roeder is in charge of taking great care of our most important resource: our people. In her role as Vice President, Human Resources, she is responsible for leading, guiding and executing all areas of the employee experience. From recruitment and benefits to manager coaching and leadership development, Kathy is dedicated to providing a positive experience for every member of the Lumina Foods® family. Kathy brings 25 years of industry experience to Lumina Foods, having spent more than two decades in management and leadership across several industries. She is also a member of the Lumina Foods Leadership Team that provides oversight and strategic direction for the organization. “God doesn’t define me as an ‘HR person’,” says Kathy. “I believe my purpose falls in the category of ensuring that people who join our family have excellent and impactful experiences as they interact with all areas of our company, and that they grow while they’re here.”

For nearly a decade, Kathy has dedicated her time and energy to giving back through cancer-focused endurance events. She has completed several marathons and half marathons for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, raising thousands of dollars to provide support for the families who receive care there. She has also completed runs for the Susan G. Komen and Donna Foundations, raising funds and awareness for breast cancer causes. Originally from South Central Pennsylvania, Kathy is married with four grown step-children and a growing pack of sweet grandchildren.
